Very nice place. Excellent selection of beer! Service is great, but it's self serve after you get your wrist band. The place was busy on a Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere is great. We did not try the food.

This place rocks! Super cool concept, very fun, chill vibe. Food is really good too! Tons of taps and beers, ciders, etc to choose from. Cool sitting areas.....my son loves to play with shuffleboard and there’s games to play for the kids. Owners are great and always present. Friendly service. Couldn’t recommend highly enough !

A bar without bartenders may speak about where we're at as society, but implications aside, this was amazing. You can sample as many on tap options as you want, pay by the ounce, and not be awkwardly asked what you want while looking at a completely unfamiliar menu. Great variety of fun, local beer/misc beverage options. Bonus: the place is absolutely adorable.

We absolutely loved our first experience at NET. It was such a great date night for my husband and I and it was so fun to go around tasting all the delicious beers and ciders. The selection was great. The food was also great - my husband and I both ordered the fish tacos and they were outstanding. The staff were awesome and so helpful. The owner is extremely kind and clearly loves and is passionate about what he does. The vibe is awesome. We had a blast and we cannot wait to go back.

I liked the variety of beers, they had several options of each type of beer, it was not all IPAs. The atmosphere was really inviting, open high ceilings, but not sterile. They had one N/A beer, a soda, and another N/A option. When you're done, you can just walk out, no waiting for a server or cashier line, I loved that. We stopped in quickly before a movie and didn't have to waste time waiting, we got to drink right away, we got to drink up until we left, we weren't late for our movie. But I could also see it being a good place to hang for a few hours, they have games and food too.

Went here looking for tacos on a Tuesday instead found an instant favorite. The whitefish tacos were good. But I have zero complaints. It was fun trying the different beer. The host at the front was very accommodating. The barbecue sauce is soooo freaking amazing. I asked them to cook it on my wings and I did not regret. Talk about finger licking good. I’m already excited to go back and see what’s on tap. I liked them all or I’d recommend a favorite!

Great self-serving bar. Brilliant idea & great implementation. The variety of beers on tap is awesome. The food is good & the atmosphere has a great vibe for various size groups & styles. Highly recommend.

North End Taproom is a great addition to downtown Royal Oak! As parents with a toddler, we are constantly looking for family-friendly, fun places. We get to taste great Michigan beer, cider, kombucha, and wine. Our daughter can enjoy milk, eat some of the food, and play with the array of toys & games available. Love the garage doors and outside seating that open up when the weather is nice. They have a simple pricing, self-serve model and don’t accept tips. My only wish is they expand the cider and wine selection a bit. Some tips for first timers: monitor your tab on the screen and don’t forget to turn in your wristband before you leave :)
